Magpie is a symobol of  strength, prosperity and success. Magpie is associated with omens, prophecy and divination. When magpie comes into your life, it might be time to start strengthening these aspects in your spiritual life, or alternatively it might be time to start paying attention to the omens, dreams and hunches you might be getting. 
 
This is the 1st time I've ever done a piece this size or with actual taxidermy bits. Usually I've just dabbled in bugs and bones so this was a whole new challenge. It is just mounted on the frame, because I didn't want to crush the feathers and movement and it would have been so heavy. Frankly a shadow box that size is just too expensive. I've had these wings forever but was to nervous to use them. But here we are!
