Custom Orders
One of the things I love about this work is the chance to make something special for someone.
Many of the pieces showcased in my shop are custom orders. It offers me a chance to get out of my comfort zone, a challenege and a chance to try something new. I try and pride myself in working with clients to bring their ideas to life to the best of my ability.
If you are interested in a custom piece please feel free to contact me. It is best to include some reference photos. Most the pieces featured in my shop can be altered to suit your tastes. I can change everything from the backgrounds, the frames, to the bugs and bones themselves. I can include you're favorite colors, flowers and even personal effects.
Please be aware and understand that custom orders will take a substantial amount of time to complete. We will go through a design process where we discuss all the elements you want. Once we have nailed down the details. I will take a 50% non-refundable deposit to order supplies and begin your piece.
Bugs usually take 2-3 weeks to order, rehydrate, spread, dry, and mount
Skulls are about 2-4 weeks to degrease, whiten, dry and mount
Skeleton Articulation 2-6 months pending size, how connected the bones are
Wets 2-8 weeks pending if it is already fixed or not
Again I do not carry a large amount of stock on hand, as i do not want to hurt any one population or use shady sources. So it may take me some time to find supplies for the piece.
Some antique frames or pillars I will not be able to find again and no re-creation will be exact despite my best efforts. There is natural variation in all bugs, bones and bits.
Pricing is based on supplies, time, and rarity and will depend on the services requested.
